Darlene Schimberg has over 38 years of experience in the Financial Industry. The past 15+ years have been dedicated to mortgage lending. Darlene began her career in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as an Operations Officer for Midland Bank. After leaving Midland Bank she joined Continental Bank as their Vice President and Cashier. She moved to New Mexico where she was the Regional Operations Officer for Banquest National Bank and oversaw the Lending Departments for this bank group. Darlene moved to Florida in 2002 and began working for WCI Mortgage as a Senior Loan Officer. WCI Mortgage was eventually bought by Wells Fargo and she remained working for them until 2011, when Darlene accepted a position as a Senior Loan Officer with Fairway Funding Group in Lakewood Ranch. Some of her specialties in the mortgage industry include USDA Loans, VA Loans, FHA Loans, Reverse Mortgages and New Construction. In this challenging lending environment she strives to provide the best customer service possible from contract to closing. She believes that her customers are her customers for life not just for one transaction.
